Alireza Khoshghadam

Alireza Khoshghadam is originally from Hamedan, Iran. In 2012, he was admitted to the highly competitive industrial engineering program at Sharif University of Technology, ranking 322nd among approximately 300,000 participants in the Nationwide University Entrance Exam. After completing his undergraduate degree in 2017, Alireza was awarded one of the two Erasmus Mundus master's scholarships available in Iran to pursue studies in Economics at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (IDEA). In 2019, he started his Ph.D. studies in Economics at Jönköping International Business School where he is currently a final year doctoral candidate. His research focuses on labor economics, retirement, and pensions. Alireza employs applied microeconomic techniques to explore these areas, aiming to contribute meaningful insights to both academic knowledge and public policies.
